Artificial Intelligence and Cloud Computing

Job Reactor 23 Nov, 2017

There are just a few months left in the year. While retail jobs are going to be abundant for the next few months, if you’re looking for a full-time position that’s outside of the retail sphere, you might want to check out tech jobs.

Of course, tech is one of the most rapidly growing industries, so it should come as no surprise that this is where the jobs are. According to Microsoft itself, one of the biggest names in tech, cloud computing and artificial intelligence are two of the company’s popular career tracks.

What Is Cloud Computing?

In the realm of cloud computing, it’s your job to oversee analytics, software, networking, databases, and server storage online. You might use Microsoft Azure, but there are plenty of other cloud platforms out there like it.

Microsoft says that within its own company, candidates could take on responsibilities like cloud marketing, analytics and data science, or even consultative sales. In other words, don’t worry if you don’t possess a ton of tech know-how.

If you do though, it’s better if you have some IT experience.

What Is Artificial Intelligence?

Another thrilling career path that’s on the rise is artificial intelligence. Yes, this is what it sounds like: you do work with robots. In fact, in some instances, you may be the one making the robotics of the future, simplifying millions of lives with your products.

It’s best to have a background in engineering or science. A graduate degree is often desirable, and some applicants will even have PhDs. The more experience you have in robotics when you apply to an artificial intelligence job, the better.

If you want a job where you make a huge difference in the lives of people every single day, cloud computing and artificial intelligence are two exciting areas to explore in the growing field of technology.
